Now that we have returned to the UK we are able to reflect on the past week running the World Social Marketing Conference and associated events at your hotel – in partnership with you and your team.
The service that you provided was close to faultless, in fact a level of care that we rarely experience. You have some amazing staff – we awarded Luis with the ‘WOW’ award but it could have gone to many of the other excellent staff who we came across during our stay. On the Management side, I must especially mention two people by name; firstly, Dwayne who has been so helpful and efficient during the lead in to the events and was always there when we needed him last week, knowledgeable and reassuring. Secondly and above all, a man who gave us exactly the same personable, friendly and wonderful attention from first thing in the morning (06.30 each day!) until late at night – Brandon! We want to find a way to have him in every venue that we work with. He made such a difference!

Leslie Matthews was an absolute joy to work with. We were thoroughly impressed by the consistent high-level of service and professionalism we received from Leslie and the Westin. I would love to work with Leslie again for any future events we hold. I also wanted to mention that we were absolutely thrilled to have been able to give out our WOW award. While it was extremely difficult to choose who to give it to, and I found myself continuously changing my mind about who was most deserving. I had met Luis at 6am on the Tuesday morning of our event. He went above and beyond insisting on helping me setup for our meeting that morning in tasks I did not feel were his duty. I knew then that he was who I wanted to give the award to, however I was convinced when I saw the same man serving and assisting with our dinner at 7:30pm that night. After point him out to our team we all agreed that he should receive the award. I loved working with all the team and seeing the value that Westin places on rewarding their team made me more convinced that we had made the right choice in working with the Westin.
The support from the staff at the hotel was fantastic! Our experience at the Westin was outstanding. I truly appreciated having the same staff "assigned" to our group. This helped with continuity and problem solving when it occured. I could not have asked for a better staff to work with!

Great service from all involved. Convention Services Manager (Leslie Matthews) was great to work with leading up to the conference and on-site. Love having an Event Meeting Specialist on-site. Agustin Arellano, Jessica Oliver, Tibebu Shulu and Marlene Weisbach all were attentive to my needs and our attendees needs. Every request was met with a "yes we can do that" and then they got it done.
Always enjoy having a meeting or event at a Starwood Hotel. I know I will get excellent service and a team that works with me to achieve the goals of the meeting/event.

The staff and amenities at the Westin Harbour Castle are truly outstanding! Our guests experienced top-notch service right from valet parking, reservations, guest services, and banquets. The Sales and Conference Services team made it easy for me to plan and execute a memorable event that had guests raving. I received positive and very complementary comments about the venue and the event from our President, Board of Directors and many of our guests. Our award recipients were surveyed and they all rated the gala either 5/4 out of 5.
My event was a bit unusual as to the fact that three weeks out we had to change venues from the Sheraton Toronto to the Westin Harbour Castle. The Sheraton was unable to accommodate our event and we agreed to move the Westin. The Westin jumped in and took control of the situation and helped plan the event as though they had been involved months prior. I am a huge fan of Starwood and have been planning events with them for over 20 years. Starwood always provides me with a high level of service, are competitively priced, are willing to go the extra mile - and that makes me comfortable!
